How the Superior steers
The Superior is our best skate for an all-round skater, or for an active recreational skater who wants a good-looking, high-quality skate. It steers easily and gradually over the ice, which makes it easy for everyone to use. You also feel a lot of stability on these skates.
Op deze website stond eerder bij de Superior-schaatsen vermeld: “All runners are manufactured to world class standards by Jacco Kromkamp”. Dit is onjuist. Ook schaatsmessen van andere leveranciers zijn gebruikt voor deze schaatsen.”
BLADES
- Sharpen blades regularly for optimal performance. We recommend professional sharpening services.
- Inspect blades for any signs of damage or wear before each use.
- Customise blade alignment based on personal skating style for enhanced stability.
GENERAL CARE
- Wipe blades dry after each session to prevent rusting.
- Store skates in a cool, dry place to maintain their condition.
- Replace worn-out components promptly to ensure continued safety and performance.
LONG TRACK VS. SHORT TRACK
- Long track: opt for slightly longer blades to maximise gliding efficiency.
- Short track: shorter blades provide agility and quick manoeuvring on the tight turns of the track.
EXPERT TIP
- Contact us for personalised advice on sizing and maintenance.
- Invest in skate guards to protect blades during off-ice transport.
