Short Track Tools

Sharpening jigs, the StayBent blade bender, radius and bend gauges and diamond sharpening stones for short track blades, designed and machined in Heemskerk, the Netherlands. A jig is a reference surface: it holds a pair of blades in a known position so the stone cuts evenly.

The EHS Short Track & Long Track Sharpening Jig comes apart. Four screw-knobs release it, it goes back together in about five minutes, and the machined mounting points return it to the same geometry every time, so it packs into a bag for competitions. The StayBent PRO Sharpening Jig clamps a pair of blades in the same position every session, and is offered with or without top locators, which level blades that differ slightly in height.

Choose the EHS jig if you sharpen away from home, and the PRO jig if you sharpen your own race blades at a fixed bench. Many of these tools serve long track blades as well.
