A 12 foot turn belt for working on body position in crossovers and up-downs. It fits in a skating bag and it goes wherever you train.
What it is for
Crossovers and up-downs are won on body position, and body position is hard to feel without something loading it. The turn belt gives that load. Used properly it tells you when you are actually putting pressure into the ice and when you are only leaning, which is the difference a coach spends a season trying to describe.
Why it travels
It is small enough to live in the bag alongside your guards and your stone, so the dryland work happens at the rink, at a camp or in a hotel corridor instead of only in a gym.
