Top locators for the EHS Long Track Jig. They make the difference between a level edge and an edge that is a fraction off on one blade.
What they fix
Blades have minute differences in height. Dropping a pair into a jig and clamping them lets that difference tilt the pair relative to the stone, which angles your edges and, over several sharpenings, changes the rock of your blades. Mount the top locators, pull the blades up against them, and both blades sit level before the stone touches anything.
Fitting
Supplied as one pair, with the knobs. They mount onto the jig before sharpening and stay there. Front locators and replacement knobs are also stocked separately.
